Lancashire Farmhouse, Major Roofing Works, Grade II Listed, Building of Special Interest

Haydock Slating carried out major alterations to the roof structure, a complex and challenging job to undertake and complete successfully

This was a complex and challenging job for George Haydock, project manager and his team to undertake and complete. It involved major alterations to the roof structure:

• removal and replacement of the existing roof

• sourcing and matching the stone slates

• rebuilding chimneys

• replacing timbers and gutters

Listed building consent was required which meant that the materials and construction had to be carefully monitored and quality controlled.
